Facebook is a social networking site which is the most famous one all over the world having billions of users worldwide. Today Facebook is an American company and the main headquarter is situated in Menlo Park, California. Facebook was formed by Mark Zuckerberg, he was the student of Harvard University and he created facebook with the help of the students in Harvard and his roommates. Facebook was launched on 4th February 2004. Mark Zuckerberg is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Facebook. Operating Officer is Sheryl Sandberg, Financial Officer is David Wehner, Technology Officer is Mike Schroepfer and Product Officer is Chris Cox.
A few years ago, Facebook has also introduced its application and it’s just an easier way to operate Facebook accounts, using an app is always more convenient than using website. All the features of the website are available in its app. When you download this app it will ask for certain permissions from you like allowing notifications, having access to camera and contacts so that it can directly connect you with your contacts on Facebook. These permissions are just for our convenience and so that we can have full use of the application. Facebook app is available for everyone whether it is a windows phone, Android or iOS.
